This in-house academy is available to all students who attend Park Vista. No application required.

Students take a sequence of three or more courses starting with Digital Information Technology (DIT) and then choosing a program area. DIT can be taken here or on FLVS.net.

Students in the Multimedia Communications Academy will learn a variety of skills in technology communications or film/video production and development. They may choose among the following program areas to concentrate their studies:
Digital Design
Multimedia Design Technology 
Website Development

Electives offered but are not a part of the Multimedia Communications Academy (they do not require Digital Information Technology as the pre-requisite course).

IT Fundamentals an Exploring Computer Science course (freshmen only)
AICE Business AS (first year: open to sophomores, juniors, and seniors)
AP Computer Science Principles 
Business Ownership (New 2018-2019)

We began offering the Microsoft Office Specialist and the Adobe Certified Associate program in 2009. Since then, we have certified 1000's of students in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Technology Associates, Adobe Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Flash, Illustrator, Toon Boom Storyboarding & Harmony, and Premiere. We look forward to continuing to provide this opportunity for students to earn current industry-recognized certification to the students in the Multimedia Communications programs.
